The fund invests at least 80% of its net assets in a portfolio of income-producing equity securities, such as common and preferred dividend-paying stocks. It invests in US and non-US issuers and has no specific policy on the number of different countries in which it will invest but intends to invest in at least three different countries. The fund may also invest a substantial amount of its assets in issuers located in a single country or a limited number of countries and may invest up to 15% of its net assets in illiquid securities.
