The investment seeks long-term capital appreciation. The fund invests generally in common stocks, securities convertible into common stocks and related equity securities of mid-size and smaller companies(generally a market capitalization of less than $15 billion or the largest companies in the Russell Mid-cap Growth index if greater), maintaining at least 80% of assets in such mid cap securities.
