Fund Summary

The investment seeks to maximize total return consistent with preservation of capital. The fund normally invests at least 80% of assets in fixed-income securities. It invests primarily in investment-grade fixed-income securities rated within the top four credit rating categories. The fund may invest up to 25% of total assets in US dollar-denominated securities of foreign issuers and governments. It may hold up to 20% of total assets in cash or money market instruments in order to maintain liquidity.
