Fund Summary

The investment seeks current income consistent with capital preservation. The fund is a gateway fund that invests substantially all of assets in stable income portfolio. It normally invests at least 80% of assets in income-producing debt securities; and up to 20% of assets in U.S. dollar-denominated debt securities of foreign issuers. The fund only purchases investment-grade securities, though the fund may continue to hold a security that falls below investment-grade.
