The fund typically invests in a portfolio of small- and mid-capitalization growth-oriented companies. Its investment team currently expects that the fund typically will hold between 40 and 60 securities positions. The fund typically invests most of its assets in securities of U.S. companies but may also invest a portion of its assets in foreign securities. It invests principally in equity securities of companies with market capitalizations (at the time of purchase) of either up to $8 billion or 120% of the market capitalization of the largest company included in the Russell 2500® Index.
