The investment seeks long-term capital appreciation. The fund pursues its goal by purchasing a broad and diverse group of securities of companies in emerging markets with larger market capitalizations relative to their respective markets and that it considers to be value stocks. It normally invests at least 80% of net assets in emerging-markets investments. The fund may invest in securities issued by other open-end mutual funds or ETFs that primarily invest in securities of emerging-market companies.
