The fund normally invests at least 80% of assets in equity securities of small-capitalization companies (companies in the capitalization range of the Russell 2000 index). It may invest up to 15% of assets in a basket of foreign securities or in bonds of any maturity rated as low as CC/Ca and their unrated equivalents.
