It invests in foreign securities (including depositary receipts) listed in the United States on a national securities exchange. The fund may also invest in common stocks of medium-sized and large companies, and convertible and non-convertible fixed-income and preferred equity securities. It may invest up to 20% of net assets in convertible securities rated below investment grade and may invest up to 5% of net assets in non-convertible fixed-income securities rated below investment grade.
