    Boston Private Wealth undergoes another management change

    A top executive at Boston Private Wealth is leaving the firm less than two years after it acquired his Florida-based wealth management outfit. Peter Raimondi entered a separation agreement with Boston Private Wealth on Monday, under which he has stepped down as president, effectively immediately. Boston Private (BPFH) spokesman Stephen Brownell said in an email that Raimondi has been discussing stepping down from the position with Boston Private for several months and that he will continue working with the firm for several more months before transitioning into an advisor role.

    Boston Private’s struggles continue with loss of six large clients

    Six large clients have left Boston Private Wealth so far this year and taken hundreds of millions of dollars in assets with them, disappointing executives who had hoped outflows were on the decline after significant losses in mid-2015. Driven by the departure of the six clients, the wealth management unit of Boston Private (BPFH) experienced net outflows of $422 million in the first three months of 2016, its second-worst quarterly loss since its merger with Florida-based Banyan Partners in October 2014. Boston Private did not name the clients.
