CBRL seems to be doing better than most restaurants. The articles I've read today, 5/23/17, are praising CBRL for beating the projected earnings, $1.95 to $1.84, but they fail to mention it was $2.04 for the same quarter last year when the weather wasn't as nice last Winter in the states where most of CBRL's stores are located. Same store sales were slightly down. Still, you can still expect a 15-40 minute wait for a table at CBRL, so it has a buffer against seriously falling sales. Restaurants in general don't seem to be doing well, at least those whose owners or managers are friends and acquaintances of mine in the Baltimore suburbs, which enjoys low unemployment and very high average pay. I've been asked by three friends to go online to certain restaurant review sites like Yelp and put in a great plug for their restaurants.
I'm an idiot i bought this for $13 share and sold it for $12
This bow wow of late still seems very cheap at $156. I added some here today for a trade. I hope to get it back up to $158 in next day or three.
They fired Brad's wife. End of story. I read this from a Chinese local news paper. Haha.

Bradley Reid Byrd and Americans all want to know a simple question: Why did Cracker Barrel fire Brad's wife after 11 years of faithful service with no reason? Cracker Barrel and their management do not bother and the heat is up.
Donald Trump has once again directed his ire at the media, telling it should stop covering his team's alleged links with Russia and instead focus on his claims Barack Obama wiretapped him. The US president hit out at the news outlet on Saturday (1 April), taking to Twitter to share his frustration at the news agenda, and including the claim that the Russia story was 'fake'.
Gwen Alexander, District Manager and HR cronies at Cracker Barrel, allegedly fired Nanette Byrd because she was not working our after 11 years of faithful service. Better yet, Mr. Gwen and his cronies at HR fired Nanette 2 weeks prior to her anniversary date. As a result, Nannette missed her 2-weeks vacation pay and raise. "Brad's wife is coming up on eligibility to receive retirement and vacation packages."
The hashtag #JusticeforBradsWife was born. The memes began. The worst day of the Cracker Barrel social-media manager’s life began then, too.
Timber!!! Nice day to pickup shares. Anything under $160 is back up the truck range!!!
It's tanking because they fired Brad's wife! Go take a look at their facebook page if you don't believe me. I won't touch this till we know why she was fired after 11 years of service, on his birthday!
Made another point on CBRL today on a day trade. Nice range for trading. Certainly has not done much this year but I have traded it well.

Market is giving a good entry for buying CBRL today under $159. I am backing up the truck here. Good for a $2+ swing back within a week and if not good stock to hold.
They missed Zack's sales est by 5 million, profits were good and exceeded expections. The restaurant is somewhat tight right now. Good dip today, probably some will buy on this dip..great expections for new stores out west...solid management.Best place to eat when travling otr local for that matter.
Does a neutral eps of 8.17 mean little action for CBRL? It's an interesting question but anything could happen. A Pullback, a sudden uptick; it's all possible. Not sure how awesomeSTO-CKS finds all these incredible trade ideas but im happy.
The stock is lower today than in May 2016. Why wasn't the Biglari plan implemented ? Holler & Dash looks like capital expenses to attract millennial rednecks ? Lebanon, Tennesee top management is grossly overpaid, every single paycheck.
New units are opening out West, to my knowledge they own all the properties and land.Pls correct me if I'm wrong) All Units are company owned. They are better than most restaurants to invest in.Especially on the drop we are now going through (Jan 25th,2017) ..Anyone know what has happened to the items they put in the grocery stores.
$200 per share if Biglari plan was implemented. Meanwhile, Sandra gets overpaid.
Why the drop recently? Down over 2% today when oil is down and the market is up!
$I hope you are ready because I am about to tell you how I made A BUNCH of cash in the markets recently. Google “loin stock ale@rtsq” and see for yourself…They have done very well for me
