Turkey and Russia have been at odds since the Turkish military shot down a Russian jet near the Syrian border late last year. Allegations that it was Russian operators who hacked into U.S. Democratic Party emails are swirling anew as the Democratic National Convention heads into day two. The VanEck Vectors Russia exchange-traded fund (RSX) is up 0.3% today, while the iShares MSCI Emerging Markets ETF (EEM) is up 0.5% and the Central Europe, Russia and Turkey Fund (CEE) is flat. The Russia fund has far outpaced the other funds this year, up 22% to the EM ETF's rise of 11%.
