    Cincinnati Financial Corp. is shifting leadership of its biggest insurance line. Charles (Bud) Stoneburner II will retire in the next six months from his role as senior vice president in charge of commercial lines at Fairfield-based insurer Cincinnati Financial’s (CINF) main subsidiary, Cincinnati Insurance Co. The company said Stephen Spray, who is a senior vice president, will take over Stoneburner’s spot as head of commercial lines on Oct. 1.

(Bud) Stoneburner II, senior vice president – commercial lines for its lead subsidiary, The Cincinnati Insurance Company, will retire within the next six months, completing the transition plan set in motion last November. After advancing through the ranks of the claims department to lead the company's field claims division, he shifted his focus to underwriting in 2008, taking the lead of the company's commercial lines operation. As previously announced, Stephen M. Spray, senior vice president, will be the next head of Cincinnati's commercial lines.
