Cypress Semiconductor’s new CEO, Hassane El-Khoury, took to the airwaves this morning, to chat about the “3.0” version of the company he envisions, on CNBC with host Jon Fortt. El-Khoury came to Cypress from the auto world nine years ago, and claims to have basically built the automotive business at the company, so it’s no wonder he has a lot to say on the topic of connected cars, in addition to areas such as Internet of Things, including connected washing machines, etc. I met with El-Khoury late yesterday, and his message today was consistent with what we spoke about.
