Report: Fiesta Restaurant Group looking for a buyer

An activist investor may be pushing Fiesta Restaurant Group toward a sale, The New York Post reported Monday . The Post said that Addison-based Fiesta (FRGI) is “quietly alerting potential suitors that it intends to put itself up for sale.” The publication, which said the company will distribute sales books soon, cited sources close to the situation. Golden Gate Capital, which owns California Pizza Kitchen and Red Lobster, may be interested in a deal, The Post added.
