ICF International Inc., a global consulting and technology service provider, has signed a deal with Great Plains Energy Inc. to support Kansas City Power & Light's residential energy-efficiency programs. During the three-year, $11 million contract, ICF will educate customers about energy-efficiency programs though its marketing, analytics and operation platforms, including its mobile Power Rebate App, according to a release. In partnership with KCP&L, authorized contractors with ICF (ICFI) also will go into the field, talk to customers and ultimately do work in the field, Brian File, senior manager of products and service for KCP&L, told the Kansas City Business Journal.
