Pennsylvania-based Hersha Hospitality Trust (HT) has acquired the Envoy Hotel, a 136-room boutique hotel in Boston’s Seaport District, for $70.8 million. The seller was Norwich Partners, a hotel development and investment firm with offices in New Hampshire and Florida. Hersha owns and operates 55 hotels in large East Coast markets including Boston, New York, Philadelphia, Miami and Washington, D.C. Its local assets include The Boxer, a boutique hotel at 107 Merrimac St., as well as the Courtyard by Marriott in Brookline and the Holiday Inn Express in Cambridge.
