Internap: Craig-Hallum Ups to Buy on 'Active Strategic Sale Process'

Shares of data center hosting firm Internap Network Services (INAP) are up 7 cents, or almost 4%, at $2.04, after Craig-Hallum’s George Sutton today raised his rating on the shares to Buy from Hold, and raises his price target to $3.50 from $3, writing that the company could be a beneficiary of take-out speculation in the past several days around fellow operator Rackspace Hosting (RAX). Sutton’s positive remarks to an extent echo those last week of The Benchmark Company’s Daniel Kurnos. The company is actively shopping itself, with the help of the same banker as Morgan Stanley, and there are also some could product trends for the company in cloud computing: We believe Internap remains in an active strategic sale process, which has heated up more recently.
