KKR & Co.'s quest for Pandora Media Inc. may end early. Just one week after the private equity shop announced it would pay $150 million in Series A preferred stock for the music streaming site, SiriusXM, which is backed by Liberty Media (BATRA), made an offer of its own. According to the New York Post , acquisition talks are once again taking place between satellite radio provider Sirius (SIRI) and Pandora (NYSE: P), with a price tag that could hover close to $13 a share.
