Lost about one years dividend today....not happy.
So we go on Moody's rating watch due to an acquisition the same day a dilutive offering is priced at a 10% discount.... that is not good news
Need I remind everyone that the event that pushed KMI over the edge was a credit rating downgrade after an acquisition.... thier actual downgrade however was announced the same day as the acquisition
Underwriter is probably scurrying to prop up the price today
After reading about using the corporate Jet to move an employee's dog I am considering selling
Great company. One of the few companies that always keep the shareholders in mind. Wish I had more shares.
Back at the ranch,Spectra Energy Corp continuous to light it up for the stockholders up another $2.03 today to $43.98 after going up well over $4 the other day. Once again we were unable to hold the 42 cent high today, but PAA pounded out 56c and ETE held on to a 47c gain.In fact, even ENLC was up 43c today,Gel 29c,but how does this little MLP like MEP go up a $1 to $9.28,SXL up 55c,WMB up 81c,OKE up $1.08 to $5,CNNX up 21c to 19.66. Last, but not least, another small MLP beat us called CVVR up 27c to $7.15. EPD is a great company. The analyst's love the company. They tell us all the reason to buy the company, but have no answers why the stock is in a coma for over 2 years. Time to pick up the phone and get some answers. Time for EPD to start moving in dollars and not 10-20c
Shorts Couldn't Spell "Storage". It's interesting as the price kept dropping lower and lower on the decrease in the oil price that no one thought of what was happening with all the oil that the hedgers and arbitrageurs were buying. Guess some people didn't read the 10-Qs and !0-Ks which said over and over again that almost half of NS' revenue comes from storage.
As the oil in storage keeps increasing, then NS tugs on the short hairs and we get the cash distribution coverage. On the other hand, if demand increases then NS owns the pipe lines. Again, a few tugs of the short hairs and we get another profitable quarter's coverage of the distribution rate.
