Gary Greenberg has had a long and respected career in global investing—with a focus on Asian markets—from his early days as co-manager of the Acorn International mutual fund. Greenberg, now 63, also invested for Peregrine Asset Management during the Asian crisis of the late 1990s and headed up emerging market investing at Goldman Sachs Asset Management. Most recently, he has been running the emerging markets team at Hermes Investment Management, a London-based asset manager founded by British Telecom, now BT Group (BT), in 1983.
