Eckrich, a Lisle, Illinois-based maker of smoked sausages and deli meats, said today it is deepening the company's marketing ties to college football, specifically the hugely-popular championship playoffs at season's end. Eckrich has inked a deal to become the official smoked sausage and deli meat sponsor of the 2017 College Football Playoff. As part of the deal, Eckrich is launching a Road to the National Championship sweepstakes, giving 14 fans of the game a chance to throw and win $1 million at some of the most prominent college football games during the upcoming football season.
