  • The company should be releasing its q1 results soon. Hopefully its report will not be as incomprehensible as q4. I don't like to touch company whose earning report has so many exceptions that I couldn't figure out how its core business is doing.
  • Thoughts about SNCR. Will be interested in views of other watchers.
    1. I find it hard to believe a new CEO and CFO could have screwed up the company so badly in a single quarter (especially considering that the new CFO wasn’t announced until Feb 27, 2/3 of the way into the quarter) that it would cause a dramatic revenue shortfall. This would lead you to think the original Q1 and 2017 outlook and guidance were unbelievably wrong, or that there might have been other improprieties from Waldis/Rosenberger that Hovsepian and Frederick uncovered.
    2. However, if there had been such egregious previous improprieties uncovered, why would the Board bring back the guy (Waldis) who was running the company when such improprieties would have originated?
    3. Even if the Rosenberger either screwed up royally on revenue forecast for 2017 or did something fraudulent to mislead investors, see #2. It was still Waldis’ watch.
    4. If the new CEO/CFO walked into a buzzsaw that was not of their making, why were they dismissed so quickly?
It would be great to think the Board is holding off on the Q1 results because there is a pending offer for a buyout and they want to work through that first, but to me, that’s a long shot. Instead, I’m seeing a Board that has really been asleep at the switch and is now trying to catch up.
I also suspect the delay in the results is because the Auditors won’t buy off on something the company is trying to state in the report. If that’s the case, then whenever the results do get announced, SNCR could be in danger of existence.

  • Still holding above $10.
  • Buyout at 20+ when Siris bought a lot of shares at 16
  • Credit Suisse lowered SNCR on 5/22 to underperform from neutral citing SNCR losing the AT&T contract.
  • I thin more to do with the CEO that was fired was Intralinks CEO when SNCR purchased Intralinks and did he give false information to facilitate sale of Intralinks to SNCR . This could get nasty yet . SNCR may have bought a lot of blue sky with Intralinks .
  • SNCR received a letter from NASDAQ on their not reporting and not coming up with a plan for reporting....
