  • had its run and now will pull back.
  • TDG will hit or slightly beat their earnings numbers. This is because most of their sales in the quarter were already booked before the quarter started. Any harm to their business environment from a government crackdown on pricing, will be over a year away. Government buyers just don't move that fast, and Obama has left the military is desperately short the parts TDG sells.

  • There are a ton of overpaid middle managers with little management skill besides raising price. A company with good operations and consolidation experience could make a fortune consolidating the different TDG businesses. In the meantime there is too much management waste at the division level.
  • Is Citron covering here?
  • Who says TDG isn't poised for potentially massive upward movement? have you guys heard of awesome-STOCKS. i started receiving their allerts and so far i am happy.
  • Quoting in part From Ro Khanna's letter to the Acting Inspector General of the Dept. of Defense:

    Pre-Aquisition Prices

Company Part Pre-Acquisition Price Post Aquisition Price

    Aerosonic Vibration Panel $ 67.33 $ 271.00
    Arkwin Pawl $ 972.00 $ 1,950.00
    Harco Cable Assembly $1,737.03 $ 7,863.60
    Skurka Connector $ 310.00 $1,109.82
    Whippany Motor Rotor $ 654.00 $5,474.00

"Transdigm avoids showing that it is a monopoly provider of parts by setting up a network of captive distributors that mimic the aesthetics of a competitive market."

Plenty more in his letter and then there are his questions relating to the 12 TDG subs failure to disclose their parent company that should give pause on their actual intent to even the most liberal of interpretations in my opinion.

    Wow......
  • TDG going to 0. isn't that something you would say peaceful if you were short
  • going back up already, all aboard..its safe now or is it? hmmm?
  • how low it can go in short term say a month? Any guess!
  • Hi Peaceful-IYO,did TDG reach bottom yet??
  • With all the lawyers arriving now there will be a ton of depositions - they will do all the work Wall Street analysts forgot to do - at a small fee - tens of millions of dollars will be removed. A mess.
  • Oh, Boy, now letters from Congress::

Representative Ro Khanna (D-CA) wrote a letter to the inspector general of the Department of Defense, requesting that he look into TransDigm Group, a controversial airplane-part manufacturer and supplier of companies like Boeing.

Khanna's letter accuses the company of "waste, fraud and abuse in the defense and industrial base." He called the company a "hidden monopolist" that engages in "unreasonable" pricing increases.

I completely agree with Doug....investigations of govt contractors then possible lawsuits are never good....they can lead to or possibly force a BK especially for a company doing business with the gov. they are held to stricter standard and if cutoff from govt. work they are out of business

This won't end well I fear.
  • The sec should go after citron and the congressman who are obviously working in concert to manipulate the TDG share price and have provided NO fundamental data backing up their claims. It is a clear violation of rule 10b-5
  • It should fill the gap and rally $10 here
  • Boeing should buy TDG
  • Insiders have made their money - it is in their pockets - not sure they are too worried about the stock price anymore. Funny that analysts didn't expose the business model earlier.
  • lawsuits never good. can easily force a BK especially for a company doing business with the gov. they are held to stricter standards and if cutoff from gov work they are out of business
  • with current Congressional review and lawsuits potential for BK
  • Support around $180? What was Citron's target?
