Power U.S. Retail Banking Satisfaction Study, a survey that canvassed 78,000 retail banking customers about 136 banks with at least 50 retail bank branches across the country. Here's where banks with a local footprint stacked up. San Antonio-based Cullen/Frost Bankers Inc. (CFR) led the pack across Texas with a score of 867 out of 1000 possible points on the customer satisfaction scale — akin to five out of five stars.
