A company that buys real estate on behalf of institutional investors on Thursday paid just over $77.7 million for a new apartment buiding by Seattle Center, according to public records. The sale of the 13-story building called Verve follows the sale of several other big new downtown apartment projects. Columbia Pacific Advisors of Seattle developed the 161-unit project at 2740 Fourth Ave. The company said construction wrapped up a year ago, and "achieved stabilized occupancy" in the middle of this year.
