A young Folsom bank that had finally become profitable has been sold, giving shareholders a chance to upgrade their shares with a much larger institution. Sierra Vista Bank has been purchased for $24 million by Central Valley Community Bank, the two institutions announced Friday. Clovis-based Central Valley is owned by Central Valley Community Bancorp (CVCY), which has 20 branches and assets of $1.2 billion.
