Half a dozen Tampa Bay CEOs stepped down in the first half of 2016, a six-month period that saw a rise in chief executive officer departures nationwide. Among the local CEOs who left their jobs since Jan. 1 are Ed Crenshaw of Publix Super Markets Inc., Joe Brancucci of GTE Financial and Denmar Dixon of Walter Investment Management Corp. (WAC).
