Also, Steve Jobs didn't show up. Dan and Henry held each other as the show lights came up... Henry was crying uncontrollably, Dan kissed his forehead and told him it'd be okay.

The price of the iPhone is good at $99 for an 8-GIGABYTE model. However a user is still stuck with that painfully expensive AT&T c2-year contract. This renders the phone worthless.

what if you are already an att & t user and just want to upgrade the phone ?

What is the monthly charge for the Iphone. How many minutes do you get or is it unlimited amount.

Business Model Lesson: Price of phone (hardware) is irrelevant when compared to the price of the monthly fees, that is were the money is made...and yes you may assume that Apple gets a cut of the monthly revenues. Look were it's headed...soon phones will be free with service plan sign-up.

I heard Steve Palmed Dan a $20 for kissing Henry. The big rat has already swam from the sinking ship. Hope you enjoyed the ride. Palm 4G is laughing around the next cornet.

I went to the apple site to see how much the ATT plan was and it's $124.99 without any text plan. Another line costs $40.00 more. That's without any tax. $200 a month with tax is not out fo the question for two iphones. Gophones are a much option in this economy.

I-Phones are already being given away in Japan. I was at Bic Camera in Yurakucho and they were handing them out free if you would sign up with Softbank (the Japan carrier) for a 2 year contract. So the I-phone is already a give-away in some places.

iphone is overpriced, get the itouch its the same thing without the phone and get a cheaper phone contract. Over the long run it will be way cheaper.

The economics still don't work out for the average consumer. Who cares if the phone is free, $49, or $99 when you have a $84 per month obligation ($39.99 for 450 minutes plus $30 for a data plan plus taxes). This is just too expensive on a recurring monthly charge for the masses.

Apple was so ahead of its time that no rival is able to match it still 3 years after the introduction of the i-phone. Maybe Palm Pre will be a solid competitor.

Hey, aliveandkicking, the Palm Pre is kind of a joke. The Apple Iphone is the new standard. Every competitor must have the touch screen keypad. The Palm Pre looks like a Blackberry with its keypad. Again, Apple is the new standard. Every competitor has to roll out the touch screen. Palm Pre, a lot of hype for really nothing. Nobody wants it. Everyone wants the Iphone but AT&T 3 G is not working as advertised and that is making a lot of consumers cry foul. Fraud is more like it. Saying you have 3 G and not delivering it is what AT&T is doing - vaporware. Vapor = nothing.
