BROKE is WHAT WE WILL ALL BE. We have to take back our government from big business and the special interests groups that own our Congress. Even though the majority of the USA citizens are against government mandated and controlled healthcare insurance they are pushing it through regardless of our objections... No Senator should be in office more than 2 terms (12 years) and no Congressmen/women should be in office more than 3 terms (6 years) otherwise they do too much harm to us all. VOTE OUT the INCUMBENTS in 2010.

Did anybody else see there is a part in the bill where there is a 250,000 fine and up to 5 years in jail if you dont get health care insurance. I thought it was a joke but it seems to be real. The Gov't said something like people who don't get health insurance SHOULD go to jail. Ouch, thats going to leave a mark

Instead of talking about when health care will pass, why dont you spend time writing what is the contents of the bill that has everybody concern if this is a good bill for the American public. Lets not forget the promises made for Social Security. Now we are looking at a bankrupt system! I dont blame our elected officials, I blame you who vote for these people and dont find out what they stand for. Like pelosi and reed.

Funny thing is the House Bill does nothing to curb runaway health care costs and the ones who would benefit the most are Health Ins. Companies since everyone would be forced to buy health ins or be fined a penalty! The remnant of the public ins. option is so barebones, that those unable to pay for ins. will not be will covered anyway! CALL YOUR CONGRESSMEN AND TELL THEM TO VOTE THIS DOWN AND VOTE THEM OUT ANYWAY!! If this health care coverage were so great - why don't the Congressmen go on it? If it is so great why do they have to fine people to get them to buy insurance? USE YOUR NOODLE AMERICANS!

The growth of health care is unsustainable. One way or another health care costs must come down to be more aligned with GDP growth or we must pay more for health care. Health care costs are linked to the budget deficit.

The dems must do their damage now before election year. They think we are idiots and will forget by next November. The idea is to drive up the costs of health care so that we scream for their help again in 5 or 6 years thereby opening it up for the single payer system. This has been the plan for years. That is why health care costs have been skyrocketing.
