Arizona firefighters battling a deadly blaze are getting big help from the U.S. military: four specially equipped C-130 firefighting aircraft, Nineteen members of the Granite Mountain Hotshots, based in Prescott, were killed when a windblown wildfire overcame them north of Phoenix. It was the deadliest single day for U.S. firefighters since 9/11. Fourteen of the victims were in their 20s. U.S. buyers snapped-up-new-cars-and-trucks in June at a pace not seen since before the recession. Continuing demand helped boost sales for Detroit's automakers.Ford said that its sales rose 14 percent, while Chrysler's gained 8 percent and General Motors' rose 6.5 percent.
