Apple News Byte: Foxconn Reportedly Hiring Workers for Next-gen IPhone

Wochit 1:07 mins

According to a report in China Business News, a recruitment firm that works with a Foxconn plant in Henan Province has begun a large-scale recruitment of workers for production of Apple's next-gen phone. Though the report refers to the product as the "iPhone 6," this appears to be guesswork, as there is no indication of a model number confirmation from Foxconn. According to Mark Gurman of 9to5Mac, Apple is testing a feature called "Mogul" that allows the iPhone to record video at a super-fast and precise rate -- 120 frames per second. This would allow users to make slow-motion films, a feature already present in competitor phones like the Samsung Galaxy S4 and other sports cameras. Apple and Amazon have agreed to end their trademark dispute over the right to use the term "app store."?U.S. District Judge Phyllis Hamilton ordered that the entire case be dismissed at the request of both companies.
