Apple's Reported iPhone 6 Production Snag Shouldn't be a Concern

Production of Apple's newest iPhone has reportedly hit a snag, according to Reuters, which cites sources who say the setback is due to a brightness enhancement feature that had to be revised. Eric Slivka, editor-in-chief of MacRumors.com, says rumors of product delays are nothing new to Apple. While it may take some time for the company to meet pent-up demand for the phone, Slivka says he doesn't expect there to be a delay in its launch. He says if we see the phone launched any later than a week and a half after Apple's media event on September 9, where it's expected to unveil the phone, retailers that have been discounting older iPhone models may experience stock shortages.
