Jim Pethokoukis, American Enterprise Institute, weighs in on a proposed plan by Sen. Baucus to tax all income from foreign sales and services.
Ken: All you have had to do is read the comments below columns like this to get a sense of the unpopularity of Clinton. There is no equality between hated of the candidates. Every op-ed favoring Clinton or criticizing Trump fails due to the overwhelming disgust weighted towards Clinton. Trump is blusterous, but you see sober thought behind that bluster. Every politically incorrect statement stands atop some fundamental truth that is trying to be hidden. Hillary's campaign is marred by a history of lies, self-interests, failures, and revelations that are at best - gross misconduct, and at worst - grossly criminal. "What does it matter?" in response to Benghazi is perhaps the sickest thing I have heard in modern politics. She doesn't understand that, She think her garbage cannot stink as long as it is wrapped in a package of social interests. Her campaign is not based on competence. She is pretending a predestination, and she is appealing to minorities and special interests to squeak her into office over the needs of most of the rest of us. She thinks that the precedent set by electing her, as a woman, is far more important than doing the right thing for America. And unfortunately, in today's age of terror, than doing right for the rest of the world. She is the closest thing to a gangster than I have seen in American politics.
