Chinese regulators have limited short selling as it tries to stop its plummeting stock market. They also froze out day traders. Investors who borrow shares must now wait one day to pay back the loans, according to statements from the Shanghai and Shenzen stock exchanges. The Chinese stock market is down 27% since mid-June. The Magic Kingdom has been on a tear. Disney (DIS) reports earnings today and shares are at an all time high ahead of the numbers. Driving expectations higher: projections that 'Star Wars' will gross around $2.2 billion globally. Toyota Motor (TM) continues to have a winning formula. Very strong sales in the U.S. as well as a weaker Japanese Yen helped Toyota have a record second quarter, despite weak sales outside the United States.
