Brent crude rose towards $107 a barrel on Friday after Egypt's army announced a state of emergency in the provinces of Suez and South Sinai, pushing the price to its biggest weekly gain since last June. The announcement was made after Islamist gunmen attacked an airport in the Sinai town of El Arish, state newspaper Al-Ahram reported. But so far ports and shipping through the Suez Canal have been unaffected, local shipping agents said. Talk about feeling like royalty!
