German publishers, who have criticized Google News for freely displaying their content without any remuneration, have decided to temporarily support the service they seem to dislike. New numbers show that Google Play exceeded Apple's App Store in app downloads by 10 percent in the second quarter; however, Apple earned 2.3 times the revenue. Fidelity Contrafund manager Will Danoff cut his stake in Apple by 28 percent during the first half of the year, citing the iPhone maker's "slowing growth profile." The star stock picker remained bullish on Google and on Tesla Motors "disruptive technology and superior business model."
