GoPro Spikes as its 'Hero' Runs Out at Best Buy, Walmart & Target

It was a record setting day on Wall Street Tuesday. The Dow Jones Industrial finished above 18,000 for the first time. The S&P 500 also ended at new highs. The Nasdaq, however snapped its winning streak, weighed by weakness in biotech. Shares of GoPro (GPRO) spiked 6% after a 180-day post-IPO lockup on some of the company's stock expired. Separately, analysts at Wedbush reported the GoPro HERO was close to selling-out at retailers including Best Buy (BBY), Walmart (WMT) and Target TGT). Sony (SNE) closed with small gains after saying it will release 'The Interview' to a limited number of theaters on Christmas. The controversial comedy was pulled following a cyber attack blamed on North Korea. Hertz (HTZ) drove up 8% after raising its car rental prices. The hike will go into effect on January 1st.
