The Supreme Court has sent a Texas case on race-based college admissions back to a lower court, leaving unsettled basic questions about the continued use of race as a factor in college admissions. (June 24)
Harbinger: It might be a good idea to examine the history of slavery in the western hemisphere. The Slave Trade started in Western Europe by the Dutch, Portuguese and with the support of Africa. The United States did not exist. It seems that the UN has conveniently forgotten to do its home work do determine where it all began. If the UN feels reparations are required go back to the origins of the slave trade and ask those countries to pay up.
