IPhone News Byte: Apple Asks ITC not to Ban Older IPhone, IPad Models

Apple is unsurprisingly not keen on the International Trade Commission's impending import ban on older iPhone and iPad models. Per AppleInsider, the company has asked the ITC to put a stay on the ban on the AT&T versions of the?iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, iPhone 3, iPad 3G and iPad 2 3G for allegedly infringing upon a Samsung-held patent. According to a report in China Business News, a recruitment firm that works with a Foxconn plant in Henan Province has begun a large-scale recruitment of workers for production of Apple's next-gen phone. Though the report refers to the product as the "iPhone 6," this appears to be guesswork, as there is no indication of a model number confirmation from Foxconn. According to Mark Gurman of 9to5Mac, Apple is testing a feature called "Mogul" that allows the iPhone to record video at a super-fast and precise rate -- 120 frames per second. This would allow users to make slow-motion films, a feature already present in competitor phones like the Samsung Galaxy S4 and other sports cameras.
