Judge Throws Out Race-Discrimination Claims in Paula Deen Lawsuit

Wochit 0:51 mins

A federal judge in Georgia has thrown out race discrimination claims by a former Savannah restaurant manager whose lawsuit against Paula Deen ended up causing the celebrity cook to lose a big slice of her culinary empire. Authorities said James Lee DiMaggio, the family friend who abducted 16-year old Hannah Anderson after killing her mother and younger brother, fired at least one shot at FBI rescuers before agents killed him deep in the Idaho wilderness. New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg said he would appeal a federal judge's ruling that the police department's "stop and frisk" crime-fighting tactics violate constitutional rights.
