We know George H.W. Bush has been in ICU since Sunday. But what does that mean, and how worried are doctors about it?
robin: i don't know who trump is trying to kid (his supporters?) but from where i sit (an intelligent, traditional, sane, REAL, conservative who's been forced to leave the modern republican party by trump's nomination) it was clearly mr. trump who ran out of steam half way through the debate and couldn't muster the "stamina" to even put together an intelligible sentence. and if the viewership numbers are correct - everyone on the planet witnessed what REALLY happened. it wasn't mrs clinton who lacked stamina during the debate. while he continues to accuse the woman who kicked his rear end of being "sick", it is mr. trump whose (as my dear old gramma used to say - she was quite a character) eyes are beginning "to look like two pee holes in the snow", and is showing all the signs of being on the verge of a complete mental meltdown. ...and BECAUSE i am a traditional, god-fearing, sane, intelligent conservative, i have to admit, the time has come for me to say "enough" of this, and to do all i can now to set things right. and by setting things right, i mean i can no longer, in good conscience, stay silent, stay blind, and continue to support a political party that has stooped to nominate a candidate who openly admires our nation's greatest enemy. by setting things right, i mean that i can no longer pretend that someone is virtuous - when deep down in the deepest parts of my being i know the truth is that person is a bully, a compulsive liar, a swindler, a misogynist, a bigot - the polar opposite of everything i believe is good. by setting things right, i mean i intend to speak out all i can, everywhere i can, now. i intend to confess my political sins. i went along way too long. i beat back and ignored my common sense. i chose to rage with the herd, instead of reason for myself. and i chose to betray my very own principles, in the name of "politics". i now choose NOT to continue to support the modern republican party - for the greater love of my country, in the name of the higher principles our founding fathers built it on - and in the name of god and human decency. enough is enough. and i don't care how many people call me names, accuse me of not really being a conservative, or call me stupid. it's time to do what's right because i know the difference - and i can not ignore the difference another minute.
