BlackBerry?s keyboard-equipped Q5 debuted in India, the world?s third-largest smartphone market, and the company has big expectations for it. BlackBerry has seen a precipitous decline in market share in India, a key international market IBM says its second-quarter net income fell 17 percent as revenue slipped and it absorbed the cost of layoffs. One of the most questionable decisions Microsoft made last year was to initially only offer the Surface in its own retail stores, a move that seems especially strange because Microsoft only had 32 outlets nationwide last holiday season. Bob Venero, the CEO of Future Tech, says that Microsoft is still refusing to let smaller resellers carry the Surface and is instead asking them to bring interested Surface buyers to Microsoft's own locations.
