Sprint filed a lawsuit to block Dish's attempt to acquire Clearwire, arguing that Dish fooled shareholders into thinking such a deal would work.Dish Network, the satellite television provider, says the Sprint's lawsuit is a "transparent" attempt to divert attention from its failure to offer a fair deal to Clearwire shareholders. Hewlett-Packard said Todd Bradley, the head of its printing and personal computer business, has been appointed to a new position in charge of the company's strategy with a focus on China. Bradley will be in charge of strategic growth initiatives and will work with CEO Meg Whitman to improve the company's business in China and extend relationships with important partners worldwide. Stock futures edged higher, trading in a tight range ahead of the start of a highly anticipated Federal Reserve meeting.
