An official told ReutersThe Japanese government plans to adopt a different measure of inflation to the central bank's, in a move that could mean it will take longer for Japan to be declared free of deflation and give ammunition to politicians advocating loose policies. Dell Inc shareholder Yacktman Asset Management said it plans to support Carl Icahn and Southeastern Asset Management's buyout proposal for the PC maker. Before Don Mattrick surprised everyone with the announcement that he was leaving Microsoft to join Zynga as its CEO, the former Xbox?boss was reportedly interested in acquiring the social gaming company. According to Bloomberg, Mattrick met with Zynga founder and then CEO Mark Pincus in 2010 about Microsoft potentially purchasing the company.
