Despite the Supreme Court's ruling in late June that weakened the Voting Rights Act, Attorney General Eric Holder says the Justice Department will use what's left of the law to go after what it considers discriminatory practices. Federal prosecutors unveiled criminal fraud charges against billionaire Steven A. Cohen's SAC Capital Advisors LP, capping a nearly seven-year probe into one of Wall Street's most renowned firms. U.S. prosecutors said they have charged five men with the theft of 160 million credit card numbers, resulting in hundreds of millions of dollars in losses in what they said will be the largest hacking and data breach scheme ever prosecuted in the United States.
