Law & Crime Breaking News: Judge Deliberates in GI's WikiLeaks Trial

Wochit 1:06 mins

A military judge is deliberating the fate of an Army private Bradley Manning accused of aiding the enemy by engineering a high-volume leak of U.S. secrets to WikiLeaks. Prosecutors argue that Pfc. Manning is a glory-seeking traitor. His lawyers say he is a naive whistleblower who was horrified by wartime atrocities but didn't know that the material he leaked would end up in the hands of al-Qaida and Osama bin Laden. The James "Whitey" Bulger racketeering trial has featured graphic testimony from a parade of killers, drug dealers and bookies. Spanish judicial authorities say the driver in charge of a Spanish train that derailed at high speed, killing 78 people and injuring dozens more, will not be appearing before a judge on Saturday, delaying a hotly awaited opportunity for his official explanation for Spain's deadliest crash in decades.
