The gold Rolex given to President Dwight D. Eisenhower for his role in the D-Day invasion is being auctioned for the first time in its history and will likely fetch over $1 million, said Bobby Livingston, VP at RR Auction. RR Auction will be selling Ike's watch and other presidential artifacts from the internationally renowned Raleigh DeGeer Amyx collection in a live auction on September 17th and 18th. Online and phone bidding will be available, and an in-person preview is scheduled for two days preceding the live auction at the Omni Parker House in Boston. Other one-of-a-kind relics up for sale include FDR's cape, top hat and cigarette holder.
