Microsoft's entertainment head, Don Mattrick, is leaving the company to possibly join struggling games publisher Zynga as its chief executive, according to a report by AllThingsD. Microsoft officials said that the company is expanding distribution of its Surface tablet/PC devices via authorized distributors and resellers. Starting in the U.S., Microsoft is authorizing CDW, CompuCom, En Pointe, Insight, PC Connection, PCM, Softchoice, Softmart, Software House International, and Zones to sell Surface Pro and RT devices. "Over the next few months," Microsoft officials said, they will authorize commercial distributors and resellers in more countries. Twitter confirmed it was testing a tool to automatically translate tweets using Microsoft's Bing search engine. In the implementation, tweets appear in the original language, with the translated tweet in smaller text below it (with a powered by "Bing translator" label).
