scotty: "...Sly Stallone Aikens of South Carolina, serving a sentence of 360 months for using and carrying a gun during a drug trafficking crime, will now serve only 180 months." Nonviolent drug offenses? So not only carrying but "using" a gun is now considered nonviolent? I would like to know the recidivism rate for all of these people being released. I am sure they have all gone out, got an education, devoted themselves to stopping drug use in their neighborhoods and are developing and participating in after-school programs for troubled youths and gang members. Real pillars of society.
