As the partial government shutdown enters its second week, and with default looming in nine days, the president reiterates he won't negotiate until the two crises are past. (Oct. 8)
Gentry: This election has boiled down to a single, old line from the Bard himself: "Methinks thou doth protest too much" from Hamlet. The mere fact that there seems to be a concerted effort to make Hillary look like a saint with the 21 major scandals following her around, and every tiny line item of Trump's life being made to sound like some sinister plan, it tells me one candidate has the entire political system quaking in their boots, so much so that they will set their rigid ideologies aside to rally against the one person that is drawing their ire. And that tells me I think I should vote for Trump. IF I do it, I will have to do it holding my nose. But the simple panic mode that the entire political system seems entrenched in now lets me know he might be the right choice after years of theft and malaise.
